Modern Interior Design

For many families, the kitchen is the most important room of the house--the hub. Families gather here, eat here, and in general spend lots of time. Additionally, a remodeled kitchen can add loads of resale value to a home. This is why kitchen remodeling can be very stressful. When you're working with SunCoast Remodeling, the stress is greatly reduced as you are included in every step of the process.

Here's a quick overview of how Team SunCoast remodels our kitchens:

The first step is to demolish the existing countertops and cabinets. At this phase, we can adjust any electrical needs -- we often add new outlets, undercabinet lighting, pendent lights, and can-less lighting. We also adjust rough plumbing at this time to accomodate the new kitchen design. For example, moving the sink from a side wall to an island, or moving the location of appliances such as the dishwasher or refridgerator.

The second step is to install the new kitchen flooring. After the flooring goes in, we install your new kitchen cabinets. Once the cabinets are installed the fabricator can make a template of the countertop area. At this time the fabricator will pick up the slab material of your choice (quartz, quartzite, granite, marble, etc) and using your template will fabricate your new countertops. Once fabricated they will be installed along with your kitchen sink.

The next phase is to install the kitchen backsplash -- whether it be tile, mosaic, or countertop slab material.

Your kitchen sink, faucet, garbage disposal, and water filtration system (if you choose) will be installed at this time.

Undercabinet lighting and toe kick ligting fixtures will be installed next if you have chosen these options. Drywall repair if needed and painting will completed. The final step is to install your appliances. On average, most full kitchen remodels can be completed in 4-6 weeks.

What sets SunCoast Remodeling apart from other general contractors is that we treat every home better than we treat our own. We take special care in covering all your furniture, taping off areas, and keeping your home as clean and dust free as possible. Once our job is completed, we remove all our plastic covers, tarps, and zip walls and your place is in the pristine condition it was when we first got there.

Team SunCoast understands that while remodeling and updating a space is exciting, it can also be stressful. Keeping a clean work space keeps stress levels down as homeowner's don't need to worry about anything extra. Sit back and enjoy the process.
