Laguna Niguel Custom Built-In

Challenges: Our clients wanted to update their living room but weren’t sure how to do it. They knew their old built-in needed to go and that their fireplace needed a makeover.

Our Solution: We got to have total creative control on this one. The client’s only requests were that the new built-in have ample shelving and that they wanted a reclaimed wood mantle. We turned a large piece of reclaimed wood into a custom mantle and paired it with a stack stone backing to add warmth to the room. For the hearth, we chose a stone looking porcelain tile with ribbons of deep brown and vanilla to coordinate with the reclaimed wood. We created the built-in using prefabricated white shaker cabinets complete with LED dimming lighting.
