Challenges: Our clients purchased a home in Corona Del Mar that was built in 1977. There was only one bathroom downstairs and the only entrance to it was through a bedroom, making it awkward for guests to access. There was no laundry room or space to wash the sand off when they were returning from the beach.

Our Solution: We converted one of the bedrooms into a laundry room/mudroom and added a half bath. We tiled one wall in the half bath from floor to ceiling to create an accent wall. We re-worked the plumbing to accommodate for the new washer and dryer, toilet, and sinks. We installed a new window in the bathroom and a prefabricated vanity. We installed new electric including LED lights under the vanity to allow for extra lighting and safety at night.
